Stevie Wonder His real name is Steveland Morris, he was born in 1950. He was originally from a small city near Detroit, Michigan in the Unites States.
His family was poor, and life was hard for them. But Stevie was different from his brothers and sisters in one special way: he was blind. Young Stevie was like any other child his age. People could not believe he was blind. He could climb trees, move around the house normally. He could ride a bicycle and jump for one roof to another.
He could hear where things were. From their sounds, he could locate objects exactly. His blindness and his sensitive hearing were the cause of his interest in music. Music was a passion for him. He could play any instrument put into his hands, he could play the bongos, the drums, the harmonica and the piano perfectly by the age of eight, at age nine he had his first recording contract. Stevie enters his fifth decade as one of the most prolific artist in music history, with 35 albums released in U.S, 28 major publications of study, with sales exceeding 72 million copies.
He continued his journey of success in the next two decades, including writing his 1982 collaboration with Paul McCartney Ebony and Ivory. In 1984 the soundtrack for The Woman in Red produced the classic I just called to say I love you, this song was another #1 hit that gave him an Academy Award.
In 1989 he was putted into the rock and roll hall of fame next to the Rolling Stones. Coincidences of life, the Stones were the only band he chose to tour with, Superstition I 1972. In 1995 with its influence of the new hip hop, he helped to Coolio, to produced a new version of the song Pastime Paradise, they called it Gangsta´s Paradise and was the soundtrack of Dangerous Minds. The singer-songwriter has scored more than 30 Top Ten hits, 11 #1 singles of pop, has won 19 Grammys, and others Billboards awards. As critical have said about the great musical techniques of Stevie Wonder, it was simply the best, his mind is full of innovative fusion of rhythms and sensitive letters. Wonder forged his unique style and made it his own record label putting his signature on an epic quartet of albums that changed music forever
His contribution to global chance, social and political is impressive; he spearheaded the campaign to make the birthday of Martin Luther King national holiday as well as being a crucial force in the campaign of 1985, USA for Africa.

Elizabeth Kubler Ross

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, M.D. (July 8, 1926 – August 24, 2004) was a Swiss American psychiatrist, a pioneer in Near-death studies and the author of the groundbreaking book On Death and Dying (1969), where she first discussed what is now known as the Kübler-Ross model. She is a 2007 inductee into the American National Women's Hall of Fame.[2] She was the recipient of twenty honorary degrees and by July 1982 had taught, in her estimation, 125,000 students in death and dying courses in colleges, seminaries, medical schools, hospitals, and social-work institutions.
In 1970, she delivered the The Ingersoll Lectures on Human Immortality at Harvard University, on the theme, On Death and Dying. Birth and education Elisabeth Kübler was born on July 8, 1926 in Zürich, Switzerland, one of triplets. Elisabeth was born fifteen minutes before her identical sister, Erika. Minutes later came her sister, Eva. Her family were Protestant Christians. Her father did not want her to study medicine, but she persisted. Eventually her father took pride in her career. In an interview she stated: In Switzerland I was educated in line with the basic premise: work work work. You are only a valuable human being if you work. This is utterly wrong. Half working, half dancing - that is the right mixture. I myself have danced and played too little."
During World War II she became involved in refugee relief work in Zürich and later visited Majdanek death camp. She graduated from the University of Zürich medical school in 1957. Personal life
In 1958 she married a fellow medical student from America, Emanuel ("Manny") Ross and moved to the United States. Becoming pregnant disqualified Kübler-Ross from a residency in pediatrics, so she took one in psychiatry. She had two miscarriages, finally having a son, Kenneth, and a daughter, Barbara, in the early 1960s. Her husband requested a divorce in 1979. One of her greatest wishes was her plan to build a hospice for infants and children infected with HIV to give them a last home where they could live until their death, inspired by the aid-project of British doctor Cicely Saunders. In 1985 she attempted to do this in Virginia. But local residents feared the possibility of infection and blocked the necessary re-zoning. In 1994, she lost her house and possessions to an arson fire that is suspected to have been set by opponents of her AIDS work. Books:
